Our story is built on a foundation of craftsmanship, precision, and a deep-rooted passion for flooring design. Our founder, Robert, began his career in his early 20s in Poland, where he honed his skills installing herringbone floors—one of the most intricate and challenging flooring patterns. In a country where quality and craftsmanship were paramount, Robert mastered the art of creating flawless floors, focusing on the precision and attention to detail that set his work apart.
In 2002, Robert immigrated to the United States with a dream of bringing his expertise to a new community. In 2005, he founded Artistic Flooring, bringing his legacy of quality to the Chicagoland area. Over the past two decades, Robert has built a solid reputation in the region, known for his exceptional workmanship and commitment to delivering nothing short of the best. While much of the business has grown through word-of-mouth referrals, personal connections, and trusted subcontractors, Robert’s focus has always been on doing the work—not necessarily on promoting the business in the digital world.
In recent years, Robert’s son, Philip, joined the family business to help expand its reach and bring a modern touch to the operations. While Robert continues to focus on delivering the same high-quality craftsmanship, his son is working to help Artistic Flooring grow its online presence and connect with new customers. This collaboration between generations ensures that the business remains rooted in its values while adapting to the needs of today’s digital landscape. Today, Artistic Flooring continues to provide the same high standards of quality that have defined us for over 20 years. Although we may not have as many online reviews as some newer businesses, the satisfaction of our clients speaks for itself.
