MEET ROBERT NIEMCZYK

At Artistic Flooring, we are proud to bring over 42 years of expertise to the flooring and carpentry industry. Our founder, Robert Niemczyk, began his career in flooring in 1982 in Poland, where he learned the intricate art of herringbone flooring from his father, a skilled carpenter. This demanding design, known for its complexity and precision, helped shape Robert’s deep commitment to quality and attention to detail, which continues to define our work today. From the very beginning, Robert’s focus on creating flawless installations with meticulous craftsmanship laid the foundation for the legacy we uphold at Artistic Flooring. His dedication to perfection has guided the company’s philosophy and the high standards we maintain in every project to this day.

In 2000, Robert migrated to the United States, bringing with him not only his vast experience but also his passion for high-quality craftsmanship. As he settled in the Chicagoland area, Robert quickly became known for his exceptional skills, gaining recognition for his work that reflected the same precision and care he had learned in Poland. His expertise didn’t go unnoticed—Robert’s brother, Ziggy Jurgas, was even featured in the Chicago Tribune for his own exceptional craftsmanship, further highlighting the family’s deep-rooted legacy in the field. This strong family tradition of excellence continues to inspire the work we do today.

In 2004, Robert officially opened Artistic Flooring, and has been serving the Chicagoland area ever since. With a focus on craftsmanship, quality, and customer satisfaction, Artistic Flooring quickly earned a reputation for delivering exceptional results. In 2010, we developed our company slogan: "Where quality comes first at reasonable prices." This slogan reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality flooring solutions without compromising on affordability, a principle that continues to guide us today.

In early 2022, Robert’s son, Philip Niemczyk, joined the family business, bringing fresh ideas while preserving the values passed down through generations. As a fully family-owned and operated company, we take pride in the personal attention and expertise we bring to every project, with the Niemczyk family's long legacy of craftsmanship, continuing to shape our work today.
